Usage
|
Mesotrione is a selective broad-leaved weed herbicide for soybean seedlings. It mainly exerts its herbicidal activity by inhibiting the photosynthesis of sensitive plants. After application, the leaves of each sensitive weed regress after emergence, and eventually die due to nutrient depletion. This product can effectively control annual broad-leaved weeds such as amaranth and quinoa in summer soybean fields, and has a good inhibitory effect on purslane and field spiral flowers.Under development for pre- (at 100-225 g/ha) and post- (at 70-150 g/ha) emergence control of broad-leaved weeds, such as strumarium, Ambrosia trifida, Abutilon theophrasti, and Chenopodium, Amaranthus and Polygonum spp., and some grass weeds, in maize.
